Bacardi Distillery Visit, Puerto Rico

In June, Mixo-logic's Paul Lambert was invited by Bacardi out to their distillery in Puerto Rico to learn how the rum is made and spend time with the Maestros de Ron. Several other top mixologists from around the world were also taken out there.

'It has been a fantastic trip, being able to see first hand how much dedication and passion goes into the production of Bacardi is amazing. They are as passionate about their rum today as Don Facundo Bacardi was in 1862.

I have met some fantastic people, from the other brand ambassadors around the world to those who produce the rum, like Jose Sanchez and Jose Gomez, and being able to share thoughts with these people is a rare and fantastic opportunity. I would like to thank Enrique Comas, David Cordoba and Jose Sanchez for their tireless work ethic and for spending the time with us to explain everything about Bacardi to us'

OXEGEN FESTIVAL 2009

Mixo-logic staff were on hand to make Mojitos and daiquiris at the Bacardi Tent at Oxegen in June. It was a fantastic weekend with plenty of mojitos made and music being played by Beardyman Krafty Kutz and the likes.

TASTE OF DUBLIN 2009

Mixo-logic's Paul Lambert gave demonstrations in the Chef's theatre at Taste of Dublin in June. Paul shared the stage with such culinary greats as Anthony Worral Thompson, Kevin Dundon, and Gino DeCampo. Paul demonstrated the cocktails he was making at the SABA stand and also some other favourites that are available in SABA.
