Cocktail of the Week:- Casino

35mls Old Tom Gin
17.5mls Maraschino liqueur
17.5mls fresh lemon juice
17.5mls sugar syrup
2 dashes Orange bitters

Method:- Shake and strain into an Old Fashioned Glass filled with cubed ice
Garnish with lemon and mint sprig

Notes: - like an Aviation but with an orange twist instead of Violette. Really nice!

Is in the Savoy Book but I found it in Imbibe magazine also.

Must use Old Tom gin!!!!!!!

KETEL ONE DISTILLERY VISIT

Mixo-logic is just back from the Netherlands, where we, along with a dozen or so of Dublin's finest bartenders, were given a guided tour of Ketel One's new windmill,now the tallest in the world!!!Their cocktail bar is amazing. It was fantastic to get the opportunity to make drinks behind it. A big thank you to Bob Nolet and his staff for their hospitality. Also thanks to Nick and John from Brinkman Beverages for the invite!
