Mixo-logic staff tended the mojito bar at B-live in the POD this Oct bankholiday weekend. Teaching 200 guests how to make the perfect Original Mojito.

Mixo-logic's Paul Lambert spent a few hours with the bar students at Dublin Institute of Technology last Monday talking to them about the evolution of the rum cocktail and the impact that Bacardi had on rum cocktails and how they were made.

' Its always great when you get to talk to bar students. I personally feel that these guys/gals are the future of bartending and to be able to give them the advantage of learning about different products/cocktails, before they get in behind a bar full time, is something I didnt have an opportunity to take part in when I was training and I am proud to be given the opportunity to chat to these students.':-

MOJITO MASTERCLASS

Mixo-logic's Paul Lambert hosted a Bacardi Original Mojito Masterclass in the Clarendon Bar last Thursday night for 30 specially invited guests. The guests were greeted with a Mojito on arrival and then spent some time listening to the story of the Bacardi family, the rum and how it is made and how it impacted cocktails especially the Mojito, the worlds biggest selling cocktail. Finally they get to make their own mojito after recieving instruction from Paul.

The guests were invited through Bacardi Ireland's, Facebook page.

Another night is happening this Thursday in the Clarendon Bar again. Join the Bacardi Ireland page on Facebook to be in with a chance of being invited to one of these very special nights.

Due to popular demand the Mojito Masterclass will be moving around the country so keep up to date on where Paul will be next on Facebook.

ANNIE AND BARBIE CELEBRATE THEIR BIRTHDAY

Last Saturday Mixo-logic staff served drinks at Annie G's birthday party in the new Make Up Forever shop on Clarendon Street. Annie arrived in a pink car and the whole night was full of pink and black.
Flirtinis, Pink by Willowglen Sparkling wine(seen chilling here in a bath chiller) and mojitos were consumed as they danced the night away.
 

HEN PARTY COCKTAIL CLASSES

                                                                                                                                                                             Mixo-logic is teaming up with the Headfort Arms Hotel to offer hen party cocktail classes as part of their hen party package. HEADFORT ARMS,KELLS, COCKTAIL MENU LAUNCH

Mixo-logic's Paul Lambert was the host at a special evening in Vanilla Pod restaurant in the Headfort Arms Hotel , Kells recently to launch their new cocktail menu. A tasting menu of food combined with cocktails was on offer with a demonstration of the cocktails that had been paired with the food by Paul. The night was a sell out and a complete success and the cocktails are now flying out in the restaurant.
